Welcome to the Fidos Landing INC NFP Donations Page

Fidos Landing INC NFP is a nonprofit dog rescue located in downtown Homewood. What you see today is the result of pure heart, determination, prayer, and an unwavering refusal to give up.

When we moved into our current building, we were told it would be perfect for us and that only minor repairs were needed. After just a few months, we discovered the reality: major plumbing failures that caused widespread damage, a leaking roof, and ongoing climate control issues that directly impact the safety and comfort of our dogs. These repairs were far beyond what we were prepared or financially able to take on.

This building is more than just a space to us. It is home. It is the first home we have ever had after no longer being a foster-only rescue. Securing this building was a massive milestone for us, one we never thought possible. We would do anything to stay. Unfortunately, the overwhelming cost of repairs, combined with rapidly rising veterinary expenses, has put our very survival at risk.

Fidos Landing did not start with big corporate sponsors, major donors, or large-scale funding. We started from nothing with heart, soul, faith, and a founder who refused to quit no matter how hard things became. We have already poured tens of thousands of dollars into this building trying to make it safe and functional, and we are now facing the heartbreaking reality that we may not be able to continue without help.

We are a rescue made up of a very small group of individuals who give everything they have emotionally, physically, and financially to animal welfare. We were previously taken advantage of at our first location in Orland. Homewood felt like our saving grace, and now we are facing that same feeling of being taken advantage of once again.

Through grace and mercy, we believe we will get through this, but we cannot do it alone.
